Boone youth ultimate is a bunch of kids who play near-continuously at Valle Crucis park. We haven't discovered a weather we won't play in, nor have we discovered a reason to wear shoes while doing it. Valle Crucis park mixed pickup is free-for-all and every Sunday; team practices are Saturdays at Cove Creek.
Congratulations to Blurfoot, Boone's youth mixed team that won the Chillout Chumpionship! They reformed as Hawksbill with Eric Woolridge as captain and went to Hodown(Asheville) where they scrapped against even more difficult adult competition.
